Van Gogh Paris

Paris, city in which famous Dutch painter Van Gogh lived from 1886 till 1888. That’s the time when he develops his distinctive and now admired style. For the first time he sees how other impressionists handle light and color. He studies and works under prestigious tutor Fernand Cormon. He also begins to meet with the city’s contemporary artists like Paul Gauguin, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Emile Bernard, Camille Pissarro, and John Russell. All this has a great impact on his own work.

To commemorate this rich and meaningful relationship with the city we called our new line of bikes – Paris. We used a few basic colors used by the artist in his paintings. Biking in Paris can be both exciting and adventurous, due to many hills and heavy traffic, so we fitted our bikes with 7-speed Shimano derailleur and effective V-brakes. The finishing touches are a retro style LED lights and a luggage carrier with elastics to hold your baguette!
